Injury & Pain Treatment
Treating pain, acute or chronic requires a different approach. It is now known that chronic pain (pain of 6 months+) is the result of the brain misinterpreting safe messages from the body as though they are dangerous, meaning there is a significant psychological aspect with chronic pain and this must be addressed accordingly, dissimilar to acute pain. It is imperative that your therapist understands this, otherwise it could be time and money wasted!
